Born to Fly.
Forced to Serve The Peak.

An airline story. A mountain story. Mostly a mountain story, to be honest. The airline is a delivery mechanism. The mountain is the destination. We have made peace with this.

THE ORIGIN

How Bingbong Air Began

Bingbong Air was founded the moment someone looked at The Peak and said, "We should fly people there."

The details of that moment — who said it, why they said it, and whether anyone tried to talk them out of it — have been lost to history. What we know is that it happened, and we are what resulted.

The airline was built on a simple principle: there are people who want to go to The Peak, and there is a mountain called The Peak, and between those two facts there is an airline-shaped gap that only Bingbong Air was willing to fill. Other airlines looked at The Peak. We are not aware of any that followed up. That's where we come in.

We began with one aircraft. We have one aircraft. The Bingbonger has served our routes faithfully, repeatedly, and without meaningful complaint. She is the backbone of our operation. She is, if we are being honest, most of our operation.

The vision. The drive. The person who looked at The Peak and said the words. Has personally flown every route Bingbong Air has ever offered. Considers the in-flight snack selection a personal achievement. His confidence in the operation is, if anything, our primary concern.

Mira Chen

Chief Safety Officer

Responsible for ensuring all Bingbong Air operations meet the highest safety standards she is personally able to set. Has not climbed The Peak. Has read extensively about The Peak. Has drafted seventeen safety procedures for The Peak. Has not returned our calls regarding the eighteenth.

Terrence

Head of Customer Relations

Reads all passenger feedback. Responds to all passenger feedback. Some of the feedback is very upsetting. He continues anyway. He considers this his greatest professional achievement and also his greatest personal challenge. He is correct on both counts.

The Maintenance Department

Aircraft Maintenance (one person)

Responsible for keeping The Bingbonger airworthy. Has succeeded every time. Does not want to talk about the time with the ice. Prefers not to be named in official publications for reasons they have described as "professional." We respect this. The plane keeps flying. That's the job.
